Five members of the team to represent the University in the dual tennis meet with Yale at New Haven next Saturday were chosen yesterday as follows: B. S. Prentice '05, R. Bishop 3L., J. I. B. Larned '05, P. Miller 1L., and R. N. Smither '05. The sixth member of the team will be the winner of the match between T. B. Souther '04 and S. L. Beals 3L., which will be played at 2 o'clock this afternoon in a three out of five set match. The loser of the match will be the substitute.
The matches played yesterday resulted as follows: Beals defeated resulted as follows: Beals defeated Sulloway, 6-4, 4-6, 7-5; Smither defeated Collester, 7-5, 6-4; Smither defeated Cole, 6-4, 6-3; Prentice and Bishop defeated Larned and Miller, 6-3, 3-6, 7-5.
