The Athletic Committee, at a meeting last evening, approved the University and Freshman football schedules for next fall, and the track and Freshman lacrosse schedules for this spring. Permission was granted the tennis team to play a match with Princeton on June 1 at Cambridge. The appointments of W. F. Garcelon L.'95 as head coach and of J. F. Powers of Worcester as field coach of the track team were confirmed and also of R. A. Derby '05 as assistant manager of the University crew in place of J. P. Bowditch '05, resigned. It was agreed to equip the cricket team with a cocoa-matting wicket for use on Soldiers Field and it was voted inexpedient to send a crew this year to the American Henley at Philadelphia on May 30.
