At the Athletic Committee meeting last night it was voted that the alteration in the four-year rule made at the last meeting should not go into effect until next fall. The rule, Article 2, Rule C now reads as follows: "No student whether he has represented one or more colleges, shall take part in intercollegiate contests for more than four years. This rule is to be construed as referring only to the four main branches of sport, namely; football, baseball, rowing, and track athletics."
The schedules of the Second baseball team and of the Freshman baseball team were submitted and approved, and the Gymnasium team received permission to hold exhibitions on April 13 and on April 28 with the Charlestown Y. M. C. A., and the Boston Y. M. C. A., respectively. Permission to use the Stadium for Class Day exercises was granted, also, to the Senior class.
Arrangements were made with P. Ernst '03 to continue as graduate treasurer for the year beginning September 1, 1904. The appointment of M. H. Ivy '04 as manager, and of N. L. Tilney '06, as assistant manager of the cricket team was approved. The following coaches for the class crews were appointed: D. Lawrence '01, for 1904: H. Bancroft '97, for 1905: J. F. Perkins '99, for 1905: J. G. Smith 1L., for 1907.
