Mr. Francis Boott '31 died at his home 1737 Cambridge street, Cambridge, yesterday. He had been failing for the past month and his death is assigned to a general breaking down of the system. He was 91 years of age and was the second oldest surviving Harvard graduate.
Mr. Boott was born in Cambridge in 1813 and graduated from Harvard in 1831. He was a famous composer of instrumental and vocal music, his most noted composition being "A Health to King Charles."
The funeral will be held at his home tomorrow at 3.30 o'clock.
