The University basketball team will play Brown University at Providence tomorrow evening. This game was not on the original schedule, but was arranged that the team might have hard practice before the game with Columbia in the Hemenway Gymnasium on February 12.
In the practice yesterday the University team was defeated by the second by the score of 27 to 22. Fumbling and poor shooting on the part of the University team and the excellent team-work of the second, was responsible for the defeat. Captain Bigelow, who was injured in the game with Holy Cross on Saturday, was not in the line-up and probably will be unable to play for several days.
