Hon. William C. Loring '72, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Massachusetts, will lecture on "The Argument of a Case in Court," in the New Lecture Hall at 8 o'clock tonight.
Judge Loring graduated from the Law School in the class of '74. He served as Assistant Attorney General of Massachusetts from 1875 to 1878, and as general counsel to the New York and New England Railroad from 1882 to 1886. For several years he was a partner of Professor J. C. Gray '59 in the firm of Ropes, Gray and Loring. He was appointed Associate Justice in 1899.
The lecture is given under the auspices of the Practise Association of the Law School. It will be open only to members of the University.
