At the annual meeting of the Germanic Museum Association yesterday, the officers and board of directors were elected to serve for another year. Professor K. Francke presented the annual report. Owing to the small capacity of the present building, the efforts of the association have been devoted rather to securing means for new accommodations than to gaining many acquisitions. The number of visitors during the past year has greatly exceeded the number in either of the two previous years.

The officers, who were re-elected, are: president, Hon. C. Schurz h.'76; secretary, R. Hoffman '94; treasurer, F. S. Goodwin '90. The board of directors, also re-elected, is made up of: H. W. Putnam '69 (chairman), G. A. Bartlett h.'93, K. J. Belling, L. D. Brandeis '77, F. P. Fish '75, J. H. Hecht, C. S. Houghton, G. Morse '70, A. P. Schmidt, W. G. Thompson '88, F. Vogel '87, C. H.
