The second meeting of the Graduate Club will be held Thursday evening at 8 o'clock in Phillips Brooks House. Mr. F. S. Matthews, an experienced ornithologist, will speak on "Field Birds and their Music," the subject of a book which he has lately published.
At the third meeting on January 12, the club will give its annual reception to the Radcliffe Graduate Club. President W. H. P. Faunce, of Brown University, will speak. Rev. Henry Van Dyke, D.D., of Princeton, will address the club on February 17. President Eliot, Professor Munsterberg, Mr. Copeland, Professor G. H. Parker, and others will speak at meetings which have not yet been definitely arranged.
The Graduate Club at its first meeting of the year admitted 40 new members, making the total number of members at present slightly under 100. The officers of the club for this year are: president, H. N. Davis 3G.; vice-president, C. H. Johnston 3G.; secretary, W. r. Colwell 4G.; treasurer, J. H. McClellan, 2G.
All members of the Graduate School are invited to attend the meeting Thursday.
