The practice of the Freshman football team yesterday was rather discouraging as the team was badly handicapped by the loss of three of its best men and as the rain had left the field in a condition which made fast playing impossible. After tackling the dummy and breaking through, the first and second squads had a short signal practice. The first team then lined up against the second, scoring once and making good gains through the line. The first team lined up as follows: Brown, l.e.; Tucker, l.t.; Hyde, l.g.; Howe, c.; Boyer, r.g.; Harding, r.t.; Moore, r.e.; Pope, q.b.; Appolonio, l.h.b., Gilder, r.h.b.; Somes, f.b.
