The work of the Freshman eleven yesterday was primarily devoted to developing a strong defense, in which the team showed some improvement over the play in its game against Andover on Saturday. The rest of the week will be devoted to strengthening this defense. For the first part of the 20-minute line-up the first team was not allowed to work on the offensive but towards the end of the period it was given the ball and two touchdowns were made against the second eleven, the first by Derby on a 20-yard run and the second by Apollonio.
