At a meeting of the Faculty on Tuesday the following changes in the administration of the degree of Master of Arts were voted:

(a) All work for the degree of Master of Arts must be done under the supervision of the Administrative Board of the Graduate School either in the Graduate School or in some graduate department of the University.

(b) Undergraduates who have completed the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Arts will be admitted to the Graduate School as candidates for the degree of Master of Arts.

(c) Undergraduates who have completed the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Arts, with the exception of a single course, may, in special cases, be admitted to the Graduate School as candidates for the degree of Master of Arts. The special cases are those men who in the judgment of the Dean of Harvard College and of the Administrative Board of the Graduate School are likely to be able to secure the degree of Master of Arts in one year. The entire work of such men shall be carried on under the direction of the Administrative Board of the Graduate School.

These regulations shall go into effect in 1905-06.
