The Whist Club will hold its first meeting of the year in the Committee Room of the Union tomorrow evening at 7.30 o'clock. All students in the University having some knowledge of whist are urged to be present. Since only four of last year's team of eight, which played Yale, have returned to College, there is an excellent opportunity for new men to make the team.
The club is a member of the New England Whist Association, and also of the Mystic Valley Whist League in which are teams from the various whist clubs around Boston. During December the club will hold its annual University whist tournament. Regular weekly meetings will be held in the Union on Thursday evenings until the spring recess.
