The best skating today in the vicinity of Cambridge is at the open rink on Franklin Field, Franklin Park, Boston, and at the enclosed rink of the Cambridge Skating Club, corner Mt. Auburn and Willard streets, Cambridge. Jamaica Pond at Jamaica Plain and Wood Island Pond at East Boston have been cleared of snow and the ice is in fair condition. There is very good skating on all the ponds in the Boston Park system. Spy Pond at Arlington, Hammond's at Chestnut Hill and the Arlington Reservoir are not now in a suitable condition for skating.
