The following ponds in the vicinity of Cambridge have been partially cleared of snow and the ice is in fair condition: Spy at Arlington, Jamaica at Jamaica Plain, Hammond's at Chestnut Hill and Wood Island at East Boston. All of the ponds in the Boston Park System have been at least partially cleared and the ice is in most cases good. The skating at the open rink on Franklin Field, Franklin Park, Boston, and at the enclosed rink of the Cambridge Skating Club, corner Mt. Auburn and Willard streets, Cambridge, is very good.
