On account of the heavy fall of snow, only a few of the ponds near Cambridge are available for skating. Spy Pond at Arlington, however, has been mostly cleared. The condition of the ice at the Cambridge Artificial is good, at Hammond's Pond, Chestnut Hill, fair, and at the Public Gardens, Boston, fair.
