The Rifle and Pistol Club has arranged two revolver shoots with Light Battery A of Boston, to be held immediately after the mid-year examinations. One shoot will be held in the baseball cage on Soldiers Field and the other in the South Armory, Boston. Each team will be composed of four men, each man to shoot at two strings of ten at a distance of fifty yards. As the Rifle and Pistol Club team use a very light trigger pull which has a great advantage over the regulation army pull, the Battery team will receive a handicap.
Challenges have been sent to the Yale and Cornell shooting clubs for shoots to be held in the early spring, but no dates have as yet been fixed.
Definite arrangements have now been made for the proposed rifle range under the seats of the Stadium, but work will not be begun until next June. The range will be so constructed that all danger from glancing bullets will be avoided.
