At the last regular meeting of the University Debating Club for this half-year, held last night in the Assembly Room of the Union, the debate on the question. "Resolved. That the simple boycott is justifiable," was won by the affirmative, supported by A. V. de Roode '04, and E. M. Rabenold '04. W. Catchings 3L., acted as critic.
The following officers were elected for the ensuing half-year: E. M. Rabenold '04 president; E. C. Johnson L., vice- president; H. O. Ruby '05, secretary; R. P. Dietsman '05, treasurer, E. E. Wakefield 1L., fifth member of the executive committee.
