Changes in Courses.

Since the publication of the announcement of courses of instruction provided this year by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, there have been a number of changes. Of the courses in Economics, 9a will be given by Professor Ripley and 15 by Assistant Professor Bullock; course 4 will be given on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11, instead of on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, as previously announced; and 25 and 26 will be given in the second half year instead of in the first half; 17, 20 d and 20f, will be entirely omitted this year. Of the courses in architecture, Mr. J. L. Smith will give 3a, 3b, and 3c, with the assistance in 3a and 3b of Mr. Swan. Course 1 in the History of Religions will met on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3.30. Of the courses in German, as previously announced, 1b will be given by Dr. Skinner, H. by Mr. Grossmann, 2a by Mr. Howard and Dr. Skinner, and G. by Dr. Bierwirth; 7b will be omitted this year.

Dr. Hans H. Pringsheim, Lecture on Industrial Chemistry for 1903-04, will give a course of lectures on Industrial chemistry, one hour a week, throughout the year. This course is open to students who have taken Chemistry 1, 2, and 3, but cannot be counted towards a degree. The first meeting in this course will be on Tuesday, October 6, at 10 o'clock, in Boylston 9.
