RED TOP, GALES FERRY, June 10.--At present the chief aim of the crew is gradually to develop a good form from a slow 26 stroke to the far more difficult 32. With this end in view the eight rowed four miles down-stream in long stretches this afternoon, and paddled back over the course at a stroke which varied from 26 to 28 to the minute, except for the last half mile, when it went up to 32.
Pleasonton arrived here today and resumed his place at stroke on the Freshman eight. Moller has been put in at 7, taking Burchard's place, who has strained a gland.
