At a meeting of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, held on Tuesday, the Faculty voted to make the following changes:
In the four years' course in architecture, Engineering 1d will be omitted in the first year; in the second year Architecture 2b will be substituted for Engineering 3b and 3c; in the third year Mineralogy 3 will be omitted.
Anthropology has been added to the subjects in which honorable mention is given.
Professor Carver has been appointed chairman of the Division of History and Economics; Professor Grosse, chairman of the Department of History and Government; and Professor Ripley chairman of the Department of Economics.
Dr. Coar will give a new half course in German, on the aesthetic views of Goethe and Schiller. The course will be given in the second half year and is intended primarily for graduates.
