SHOOTING TEAM WINS.

Takes First Place in Intercollegiate Shoot. Brilliant Work by Du Point.

The shooting team won the intercollegiate shoot at Clearview on Saturday, making a total score of 200 birds out of a possible 250. Princeton started in the lead, and at the end of the first 3 strings was 4 ahead; but on the next two the University team gained 7, there-by winning the match. The contest for third place between Pennsylvania and Yale was very close, Pennsylvania winning by only one bird.

Du Pont '03, tied with Statesman of Princeton for the individual championship, but on the shoot-off Stutesman won, breaking 23 out of a possible 25. In his last 33 shots, Du Pont broke 32 birds, making a straight run of 28, which is the highest on record in intercollegiate shooting. Ingalls did the next best work for the University team. The individual scores follows:
