The Chamber Concert.

It is to be regretted that only a small audience was present last night to enjoy the thoroughly delightful concert of the Kneisel Quartet. Schubert's unfinished quartet was substituted for the violincello suite by Bach, which was to have been played by Mr. Schroeder. Dittersdorf's E flat major quartet, especially beautiful because of its simplicity, and Beethoven's famous E minor quartet were played with that delicacy of treatment and richness of tone-colouring which characterizes all the work of the Kneisel organization.
