The practice of the basketball team last evening showed little improvement either in team play or in individual work. Lack of spirit and bad throwing together with slow and inaccurate teamwork characterized the play. The team seems to have lost the spirit of fight which showed itself in the first part of the season and in addition to this the basket throwing of the men has deteriorated. Although the season is now nearly completed the men have failed to show improvement in any way over work of the earlier part of the season, and a decided change for the better must take place before the game with Yale on Saturday.
