The Union Lecture on Panama Canal.

Captain Charles M. Fuller, of Boston, gave last night, in the Living Room of the Union, an illustrated lecture on "The Panama Canal." The lecturer outlined the history of the Isthmian canal project, pointing out the various routes that have been suggested and comparing the Panama route with that of Nicaragua. He explained the work that has already been done on both canals and showed the engineering problems that beset their construction. Captain Fuller also described the scenery of the country and the character and life of its inhabitants, He dwelt particularly on the towns along the routes of canals, Colon, Panama and Greytown.
