Freshmen, 16; St. Paul's, 0.

The Freshman football team defeated the St. Paul's School eleven, 16 to 0, Saturday afternoon at Concord, N. H. The hurdling of the line by Reynolds, for the Freshmen, and a 35-yard run around right end by Smith on a fake kick, for St. Paul's were the noticeable features of the game. In the line the teams were evenly matched, but in the back-field the Freshman eleven was the heavier and stronger. The St. Paul's team was not once able to make its distance by straight rushing. The playing of the Freshmen in the first half was listless, and as a result there was no scoring; but in the second half the team played swiftly, and with large and consistent gains rushed the ball for three touchdowns. The work of Starr, Sibley, Foster and White, for the Freshmen, was especially good; Morgan and Gates excelled for St. Paul's.
