YALE GAME TODAY.

Begins in Stadium at 2.--Meier Will not Play for Harvard, nor Bloomer for Yale.

The Harvard and Yale football elevens will meet today on Soldiers Field in the twenty-third football game between the two universities. At 12 o'clock the gates to the Stadium will be opened, and at 2 o'clock the game will begin.

The Harvard eleven will be the same that played against Pennsylvania, with one exception. Meier has not fully recovered from the injury received in the Dartmouth game and Derby will take his place at right tackle; the latter is strong and aggressive, and has played well in the practice of the last week. Since the Dartmouth game the team has improved markedly both in defensive and offensive strength and on the basis of this improvement and the excellent physical condition of the men who will enter the game rest Harvard's hopes of victory.

The Yale eleven has shown in its general work this season that it possesses great defensive strength and an attack that is at once varied and powerful. Six members of the 1902 eleven will be in the line-up today. Bloomer has not recovered from the injury sustained last Saturday, and his place today will be taken by Miller; with this exception the men have recovered from the hard strain of the Princeton game, and are physically fit.

The teams will line-up as follows: HARVARD.  YALE. Clothier, l.e.  r.e., Shevlin Derby, l.t.  r.t., Hogan LeMoyne, l.g.  r.g., Miller Parkinson, c.  c., Roraback A.
