THE SIGNAL PRACTICE LIGHT.

LeMoyne and Nichols Practiced Kicking.--Catching of Punts Satisfactory.

Yesterday's practice for the University eleven consisted only of light signal practice. Special attention was directed toward getting increased speed into the charging of the line. Nichols and LeMoyne had practice in punting, and their work was of average quality; the catching of the punts was very good.

Bowditch and LeMoyne were both in the line-up, and Meier was the only regular player not on the field; he will probably be out for work tomorrow. Aside from Meier, the men are all in the best possible physical trim.

The University eleven lined up as follows: l.e., Clothier; l.t., Derby; l.g., LeMoyne; c., Parkinson; r.g., A. Marshall; r.t., Knowlton; r.e., Bowditch; q.b., C. B. Marshall; l.h.b., Nichols; r.h.b., Hurley; f.b., Schoellkopf.

Among the coaches out were: J. W. Farley '99, E. O. King '03L., B. G. Waters '94, J. Dunlop '96, E. H. Greene '02, W. C. Forbes '92, D. S. Dean '91.
