In the final trials yesterday at the Brookline Country Club, to select the cross-country team, the order of the first six men was as follows: W. A. Colwell 3G., A. King 1L., H. H. Rowland '06, S. Whittaker 2L., S. Curtis '05, W. A. Howard '07.

These men, and possibly a seventh to be chosen later, will compose the University team which will take part in the intercollegiate run the day before Thanksgiving.

The course was four times around the steeple chase track of one and one-quarter miles, and then once around the regular half-mile track, making five and one-half miles in all. Considering the adverse weather conditions the following times made by the men were very favorable: Colwell, 27 minutes, 28 seconds; King, 27 minutes, 32 seconds; Whittaker, 27 minutes, 44 seconds; Curtis, 27 minutes, 54 seconds; Howard, 28 minutes, 5 seconds.
