Political Club Plans.

Small meetings, open only to club members, will be held by the Political Club every three weeks during the coming mid-term. It is hoped, however, that a general meeting, open to the University can be arranged for the middle of February, at which Mr. James R. Garfield of the United States Civil Service Commission will speak. Any men who desire to join the club are asked to send their names to R. A. Derby, Westmorly 126, in order that they may be proposed for membership.

The Sophomore Debating Club has been organized, and the following officers have been elected for the first half year: President, A. E. Wood; vice-president, W. M. Shohl; secretary, E. Q. Abbott; treasurer, W. M. Thayer; fifth member of executive committee, N. Kelley; camp captains, J. W. Plaisted and R. L. Hale.
