The work of the Freshman crew squad yesterday consisted of the usual machine practice, followed by light exercises. As soon as the men show sufficient ability in the management of their slides they will be given frequent practice in the rowing tank, each squad working in the tank for about ten minutes and spending the remainder of the time on the machines.
During the mid-year examination period the squad will row regularly every afternoon, and after February 9 will begin strict training. Today the first squad will row at 2 o'clock, the second at 2.25, and the third at 2.50. On Monday the squads will row at the usual times, 3.45, 4.10 and 4.35.
