Robert Clifford Watson of the class of 1869 died at his home in Milton early on Sunday morning, June 1. He was fifty-four years old. His death was due to a stroke of paralysis the result of a strain incurred two years ago. While in college Mr. Watson rowed on the '67 and '68 University crews which beat Yale; after graduation he was several times University coach and throughout his life kept up his interest in rowing.
His funeral, which will be private, will be held at his home in Milton at 4 o'clock this afternoon.
