After a trying week of shifting and testing, the University crews were given a complete rest on Saturday, and did not row at all. It seems now as if the first crew were fairly settled in the following order:
Stroke, McGrew; 7, Bancroft; 6, Shuebruk; 5, Ayer; 4, Foster; 3, Bullard; 2, Swift; bow, James; cox., Jackson.
The second eight will probably be split into two four-oared crews this week, as the squad will go to New London a week from tomorrow, and only a short time remains in which to pick the men. It is likely, however, that the second crew will be kept together for another time-row with the first, early in the week.
