Statistics of the Harvard Nine.

Barrett Wendell, Jr., '02, of Boston, left fielder and captain, caught for three years on the Noble and Greenough's School team. In his Freshman year be caught on his class team, and when that disbanded, was taken on the University squad. For the last two years he has played in the outfield. He is 21 years old, weighs 149 pounds, and is 5 feet 11 inches in height.

Robert Peebles Kernan '03, of New York City, catcher, prepared at the Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute, where he played for three years on his school nine. In his Freshman year he pitched on the University nine, and was substitute half-back on his class eleven. In his Sophomore year he was substitute catcher on the University nine and substitute half-back on the University eleven. Last fall he played half-back on the University eleven, and is captain of next year's eleven. On the University track team this year he won the high jump in the dual games with Yale. He is 20 years old, weighs 173 pounds, and is 6 feet in height.

Alfred Stillman '03, of Brooklyn, pitcher and center fielder, entered college from Hopkinson's School, where he pitched on the school nine for four years, captaining the nine for one year. He played full-back on his Freshman class eleven, substitute full-back on the University eleven in 1900, and pitched on the University nine last year and in his Freshman year. He is 21 years old, weighs 175 pounds, and is 6 feet in height.

Walter Clarkson '03, pitcher and center fielder, of Cambridge, played on the Cambridge High and Latin School nine for five years, during three of which he was captain. In his Freshman year he was captain of his class nine, which defeated the Yale Freshmen twice. Last year he pitched on the University nine. He is 22 years old, weighs 144 pounds, and is 5 feet 9 inches in height.

Clarence Walter Randall '05, of St. Louis, Missouri, first baseman, entered college from the St. Louis High School, where he played on the school nine for three years. He played substitute half-back on his Freshman class eleven. He is 20 years old, weighs 162 pounds, and is 6 feet in height.

Stephen Henry Skilton '04, of Brockline, second baseman, entered college from the Brookline High School, where he played on the school nine four years, captaining it during his last year. He played full-back on his Freshman class eleven, and was captain of his Sophomore class team. He is 20 years old, weighs 100 pounds, and is 5 feet 8 inches in height.

Proctor Carr '04, of Andover, third baseman, prepared at the Cambridge Latin School. He played for three years on his school nine, captaining it during his last year. He was cover-point on the University hockey team this year. He is 20 years old, weighs 133 pounds, and is 5 feet 4 inches in height.

Edward Erwin Coolidge 1L., of Natick, short stop, prepared at the Natick High School, where he played second base and short stop on the school team for two years. He was substitute fielder on his Freshman nine, and has played shortstop on the University nine for the last two years. He is 23 years old, weighs 140 pounds, and is 5 feet 7 1-2 inches in height.

George Parker Milne 1G., of Orange, New Jersey, substitute catcher, prepared at the Orange High School, where he played on the baseball and football teams. He caught on his Freshman nine and has been substitute catcher on the University nine for three years. He is 23 years old, weighs 143 pounds, and is 5 feet 7 inches in height.

Leo Jameson Daly '03, of Roxbury, right fielder, entered College from the Roxbury Latin School, where he played for two years on the school rine, captaining it one year. He played second base on the second nine last year, and was substitute quarterback on the University eleven last fall. He is 21 years old, weighs 150 pounds, and is 5 feet 9 inches in height.

William Clarence Matthews '05, of Montgomery, Alabama, substitute fielder, prepared at Andover, where he played on the baseball nine for four years, captaining it one year. Last fall he was substitute quarter-back and substitute end on the University eleven. He is 24 years old, weighs 130 pounds, and is 5 feet 8 inches in height.
