The written examination for the Rieardo Scholarship for 1902-1903 will be held on Saturday, May 24, at 10 o'clock in University 23. Candidates for the scholarship must hand a statement of their previous studies to Professor T. N. Carver not later than May 15.
The examination will require no special preparation as each candidate will write an essay on a topic chosen by himself, from a list not previously announced, in economics and political science. The award will be made not later than June 15, and will be based on the ability and promise of the candidates, without regard to their pecuniary means.
