So far only five candidates have entered for the trials to pick a team for the Yale debate.
At a meeting on the 150th anniversary of the American Philosophical Society, which will be held at Philadelphia on April 3, Professor Trowbridge will read a paper on "The Spectra Gases at High Temperatures."
Dr. Ross has recently given to the architectural library a collection of books on architecture and painting. These books are being catalogued and will soon be put in the library.
The Harvard Club of Philadelphia will hold its annual dinner at the University Club, 1510 Walnut street, on Saturday evening, April 5. Dean Briggs and W. T. Reid 1G., will be the guests of the Club at that time, and any Harvard men who are in the vicinity are cordially invited to be present.
