The Symphony Concert.

The ninth concert by the Boston Symphony Orchestra, which was given in Sanders Theatre last night, was particularly interesting on account of the soloist, Florizel Reuter, who played Vieuxtemps' first concerto for violin in an excellent manner. Reuter has remarkable technique and tone and plays with great self-possession. The rest of the programme, consisting of Goldmark's Overture to Penthesilea, Wagner's "Good Friday Spell" from "Parsifal," and Brahms' fourth Symphony, was performed with the orchestra's usual brilliancy.
