Prince Henry of Prussia will become the guest of the University at 1 o'clock today. At that hour the Honorable Francis C. Lowell and Major Henry L. Higginson, in behalf of the Corporation, will call upon him at Hotel Somerset to escort him to Cambridge. Shortly after 1 o'clock, the procession of carriages, led by a battalion of state troops, will leave for Cambridge and will arrive at Memorial Hall at 1.30 o'clock. The route to the University will be way of Massachusetts avenue to the City Hall, where a short stop will be made to enable the Mayor of Cambridge to welcome the Prince to this city. From there the procession will pass along Lee, Harvard and Cambridge streets to Memorial Hall.
RECEPTION AT SANDERS THEATRE.
President Eliot and other members of the Corporation will receive the Prince at the entrance and will escort him to the Theatre, where the exercises will occupy about twenty minutes.
LUNCHEON IN UNIVERSITY HALL.
At 1.50 o'clock, the Prince and his suite, accompanied by the President and guests, will pass through Cambridge and Peabody streets and will enter the Yard through the Johnston Gate, between Harvard and Massachusetts Halls, and will proceed thence to University Hall. In University Hall luncheon will be given by the President and Fellows to the Prince's party, members of the Faculties and other guests.
At 3 o'clock, the President will escort Prince Henry to the Union, passing through the Johnston gate and down Massachusetts avenue to Quincy street.
EXERCISES AT THE UNION.
The programme of the exercises at the Union will be as follows:
1. Singing of "Fair Harvard" led by Glee Club.
2. Speech by Major Henry Lee Higginson.
3. Speech by R. C. Bolling.
4. Poem by R. M. Green.
5. Cheering for Prince Henry.
6. Speech by Prince Henry.
7. Song, "Our Director."
