Fact and Rumor.

During the past week contributions amounting to $202.50 have been received by the Boer relief committee of the University.

Professor C. R. Sanger will leave this afternoon for Europe, where he will take an extended trip, returning about September 1.

At a recent meeting of the fourth year class of the Medical School, H. W. Goodall was elected marshal for Commencement Day.

S. Thurman '03 has been chosen to represent Harvard at the State Oratorical Contest of the Intercollegiate Prohibition Society. The contest will be held in Boston early in May.

The new stained glass window, the gift of the class of '55, in memory of Bishop Brooks and General F. C. Barlow, is being put in place on the north side of the Memorial dining hall. Sometime during the year the window at the west end of the south side of the hall is also to be replaced by one of stained glass by the class of '64. With these two new windows every available space in the dining hall will be filled.
