The last lecture of M. Mabilleau's series was given last night, on "La Co-operation en France."
M. Mabilleau in part described the co-operative society founded by Jean Le Clerc, of which he is now president, and told of the great help that it had been to poor Parisian painters of the past 60 years.
Co-operative societies of "credit" are usually found among peasants, who often wish to make some purchase, and can, if in good standing, borrow the necessary money from the society.
M. Mabilleau will give his next lecture at Columbia. He will later go to Montreal, Baltimore and Washington.
