At the meeting of men interested in golf held last night, it was stated that about 900 printed circulars have been sent out to Harvard graduates in the principal cities, for the purpose of raising money for the proposed course in Waltham. Up to the present time, $3950 has been either subscribed or promised. If $10,000 can be raised the land will probably be bought and mortgaged for $5000. To secure the remaining $6000, therefore, the co-operation of those who attended the meeting was asked. Subscriptions may be sent to the State Street Trust Company, Boston, or may be left with J. F. Curtis, 1 Apthorp House.
