The Fencing Tournament.

The class fencing teams for the interclass tournament to be held this week have been appointed as follows:

1903-T. D. Roberts, H. Saint Gandens, J. Bryant; substitutes-B. S. Lacy, H. J. Phipps.

1904-F. P. Woodbury, A. Tyng, G. Dolley; substitutes-N. S. McKendrick, H. B. Sherman.

1905-W. MacLeod, H. A. Hirsh, S. Sargent; substitutes-R. E. Daniels, D. M. Wardner.

1906-R. Merrill, J. R. Nichols, A. K. Miller; substitutes-J. B. Stetson, W. M. Wright.

Law School-H. J. Elam, H. W. Barnum, M. G. Buchanan; substitutes-W. E. Meyer, R. A. Grosenbaugh.

These teams will meet this afternoon to select captains who will serve until after the close of the inter-class tournament when new captains will be chosen for next year.

The drawings for the tournament have resulted as follows: On Wednesday afternoon 1903 will meet 1904, and 1905 will meet 1906; on Friday afternoon the winners of these matches will draw lots to determine which shall meet the Law School team and the winner of this match will then fence the remaining team for the championship.

From this squad of twenty-five men a final squad of six men will be chosen for the University team. The men will begin immediately to train for the intercollegiate tournament to be held in New York in March.

The team to represent Harvard in the fencing meet to be held between Harvard, Yale, the B. A. A. and the B. Y. M. C. A., at the B. A. A. on Saturday evening has been selected as follows: H. W. Holmes '03, T. D. Roberts '03, H. J. Elam 3L.
