The second trial for the team to represent Harvard in the Harvard-Princeton debate will be held in the Fogg Lecture Room tonight, beginning at 7 o'clock. The twelve men retained at the first trial Friday night will speak in the following order: W. H. Nelson '04, J. F. Dore, Jr., '05, W. H. Pitkin '03, G. P. Adams '03, A. Black '03, J. Daniels '04, A. A. Ballantine '04, M. Hale '03, E. M. Rabenold '04, F. Q. Morton '06, M. F. Perkins '04, and W. Catchings 2L. Each man will be allowed to speak ten minutes on the side of his choice.
Six men will be retained tonight for the third and last trial on Thursday, and will be divided by lot into two teams. Thus the last trial will be in the form of a regular debate, each man having 12 minutes for an opening speech and five minutes for rebuttal. The three best speakers, whether on the winning side or not, will then become the University team. Harvard has the choice of sides, and the announcement of the choice will be made Thursday night.
