The Pierian Concert.

The fall concert of the Pierian Sodality was given last night in Sanders Theatre. Several selections varying from classical to light opera music were played by the orchestra, and the glee club rendered a number of catchy songs. The orchestra played fairly accurately and with precision, although not enough stress was laid upon the loud and soft effects. "The Prince of Pilsen" and "The Awakening of the Lion" were the most popular pieces given by the orchestra. The most artistic numbers on the programme were the solo numbers by Miss Marguerite Fiske.
