At the second Geological Conference, which will be held this evening at 8 o'clock in the Geological Museum, papers will be read by Professors Davis and J. B. Woodworth. Professor Davis will speak on "The Origin of the Basin Ranges of Utah and Nevada." and will present some of the results of his western excursions during the summer. Professor Woodworth's subject will be "A Dry Niagara in the Northern Adirondacks." an outline of part of his recent work for the New York Geological Survey.
