At the trials for the University band held last night thirty men came out.
Twenty-nine men took part in the first cross-country run held yesterday afternoon.
The last shoot for the novice cup was begun yesterday, but, owing to darkness, will not be finished until Thursday.
At the meeting of the Freshman Debating Club last evening the following officers were elected: president, A. A. Schafer; vice-president, H. M. Wheeler; secretary and treasurer, H. A. Bellows.
