The Freshman football practice yesterday assumed a more definite form. The work began with the usual preliminary practice of falling on the ball. The candidates were then divided into small squads and trained in starting with the ball. Later the linemen were drilled sepaately in breaking through. The backs and ends were coached in kicking, catching and running in punts. The men were finally sent on a short run.
