Prospect Union Work.

A meeting of the men interested in the Prospect Union was held last evening to discuss the work which will begin next Monday.

The management of the Union is to be somewhat different this year than heretofore, and a system of self-government will be inaugurated. A club composed of the instructors will elect one of its number president, and he will have complete control of the teaching. Instead of having talks every Wednesday evening there will be only one Wednesday evening talk a month, and dances, public debates, or concerts will take the place of the others. Smoke talks will be held on Saturday evenings as they were last year. F. W. Peabody '03 will have charge of the smoke talks, and R. G. Fuller '04 of the Wednesday evening entertainments.

The courses given and the instructors will be: Reading and spelling--L. B. Stowe '04; debating--A. A. Ballantine '03, H. K. Stockton 1L., W. H. Pitkin 1L., G. Bettman '03; elocution--C. C.
