The New Buildings.

The Architecture Building was opened yesterday morning; and, with the exception of a few rooms, was turned over to the courses which are to be held there. The work on the building is entirely completed and almost all of the rooms have been furnished and put in order. During the next week the plaster casts and other decorations will be arranged, and the electrical appliances will be completed.

The opening of the Stillman Infirmary has been delayed by the tardiness in putting in the plumbing and electrical fixtures. The furnishing is going on rapidly and it is expected that the building will be ready for occupancy at the end of the month.

The addition to the University Museum is finished, but it has not yet been occupied.

The Semitic Museum will be ready for use in two weeks. Some painting and unimportant carpenter work is all that remains to be done.

The lodge beside the Library gate has been completed. It is intended to use it as a bureau of information for the convenience of visitors. A clerk will be in charge and the different pamphlets issued by the various departments will be kept there. A public telephone will probably be put in for the convenience of the students. It will be kept open day and night so that it may be possible to telephone when other places are closed.

The Foxcroft House has been moved back about forty feet in order to provide space for the new lecture hall, which is to be built there during the spring. The House will be swung about at right angles and will face Oxford street. The basement and the new foundations on which it is to rest will be finished in a few days.
