The official report of illness in the University for the year 1900-1901, prepared by Doctor M. H. Bailey, shows a total of 4603, cases, which is an increase of about 200 over last year. In addition to the usual tabulation of cases, statistics have been prepared for the various departments, showing the proportion of men signing off to the total number of men in the departments. In the College this percentage for the Freshman class was 175, for the Sophomores 210, for the Juniors 197, and for the Seniors 173. In the Scientific School the percentage for the Freshman was 106, for the Sophomores 85, for the Juniors 69, and for the Seniors 74: The percentage for the Divinity School was 50, for the Graduate School 46, and for the Law School 27.
