The twenty-first annual tournament of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association will be held on the courts of the Haverford Cricket Club, Philadelphia, beginning tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. About twenty colleges will be represented, each by three men in the singles and two teams in the doubles.
The tournament last year was won by Princeton, R. D. Little winning the singles, and Little and Alexander the doubles. This year Amherst will have a strong representative in Barnet Plimpton, champion of the Intercollegiate League.
The Harvard team will be weakened by the loss of Beals Wright '03, who is playing abroad. W. J. Clothier, of Swarthmore, who was defeated by Little in the finals last year, has entered Harvard, but will be ineligible to play this year. The following team has been selected to represent Harvard: E. W. Leonard '03, J. A. Roche '03, S. Warland '03 and W. P. Blagden '04.
